In order for barcode scanners to scan the member number directly into IGOFIGURE software, a number of special characters need to be added before the actual scanned number. This combination of characters cannot be added with most scanners.

Some of the Metrologic range of scanners does allow for this special mix of characters and these are the recommended scanners for this application.

Make sure you have the programming guide and some time to hand to go through the programming process. If you are looking to buy a scanner then we would strongly recommend that you buy it pre-programmed from us to do this job. The cost of the MS9520 to do this job is $297 inc GST.

Please remember that if it is not a Metrologic barcode reader, chances are we may not be able to program it to do the job. If it is not a Metrologic scanner then the likelihood is that you would need to send it to us to see if we can program it. The cost for programming the scanner at our workshop is $55 inc GST.
